
MCCOMB, MS - Ethan Dyess wins his 3rd MACCC tournament of the year, leading the Eagles to a second-place finish at the Southwest MS Invitational behind No. 10 ranked Northeast Mississippi CC.
The Eagles led the tournament after day 1 by 2 strokes behind Ethan Dyess's low round of 66. NEMCC rallied back on day 2, shooting 293 to take the 3 stroke win at Quail Hollow Golf Club.
Ethan shot the low round Monday with a 66 and followed it up Tuesday with a 73 to finish the tournament at 139, 5 under par. Diego Leslie also made the All-tournament team finishing with a 148, enough for a 4th place finish. Rounding out the Eagles scoring was Michael Fain with a 152 and Presley Wade with a 160.
The Eagles will have three weeks off to prepare for the MACCC State Tournament at Wolf Hollow Golf Club in Wesson, MS, on April 19 and 20.
