68 MCC Student-Athletes Earn Academic All-MACCC Honors

JACKSON – The Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference (MACCC) has released the 2023-24 academic award recipients.
 
Twenty-one Meridian Community College student-athletes have earned Distinguished Academic All-MACCC (3.8-4.0 GPA), and Forty-Seven have earned Academic All-MACCC (3.25-3.79) honors for their work in the classroom. 
 
 
The 21 Student-Athletes who Earned Distinguished Academic All-MACCC (3.8-4.0) are Phallyn Clark, Tabitha Mayfield(Softball), Mary Ashley Culpepper, Katherine Hayes, Ember Temple, Holly Gillies, Addisyn Pope (Women's Soccer), Thiago Fasano, Jean Betancourt(Men's Soccer) Lilly Hollingsworth, Randy Rakotoariliala, Julia Blackledge(Women's Tennis, Issac James(Men's Tennis), Bruce McClung, Collin Russell(Golf), Christopher Watson, Matthew Cochran, Landon Waters, Hampton Ross, Cooper Gaylean (Baseball), and Reece King(Men's Basketball).

 

The 47 Student-Athletes who Earned Academic All-MACCC (3.25-3.79)are Presley Black, McKenna Bourne, Lauren Brooks, Mackenzie Eaves, Lynnzie Kennedy, Arlee McClellan, Mollie Mitchell, Sarah Watson(Softball), Devanye Kight, Mary Gallarno, Blessing Godson, Emma Hall, Alexa Shirley, Sophie Young, Giulia Ricciotti, Rosina Burford(Women's Soccer), Maddox Atkinson, Dawson Hester(Golf) Braden Brewer, Cooper Chaplain, Seth Cooper, Rhett Ketchum, Ross Polizzi, Corbin Gillentine, Currie Jones, Brayden Martin, Andrew Prejean, Jacob Scott, Drew Williams, Brennon Wright, Doby Bartling, Cole Blackwell, Will McClure(Baseball), Christopher Chertkow, Simon Ojeda, Reed Terrell(Men's Tennis) Cayden Alexander, Amelia Anding, Cali Davis, Isabella Quintero (Women's Tennis), Luke Barfield, Cole Crawford, Aiden Farmer, Matheus Farias(Men's Soccer) Albert Diarra, Talib Ferrette, Alexander Gray, Lawson Selby, and Chance Sutton(Men's Basketball).
