Brennon Wright put on a standout performance at the plate, going 4-for-4, including two triples that drove in three runs. Tyrus Williams continued to be a force in the lineup, collecting multiple hits and an RBI double. Ethan Mallett also made key contributions, going 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI.

On the mound, Andrew Prejean earned the win, allowing four hits and four runs over 4.2 innings while striking out four. Wade Barr and Hunter Parker would come in for relief to shut the door.

MCC's discipline at the plate was evident, as the team drew 10 walks in addition to 15 hits. The Eagles were aggressive on the basepaths as well, swiping four stolen bases, with Wright stealing two.

Eagles Soar with Eight-Run Third Inning

The Eagles carried their momentum into Game Two, breaking the game open with an explosive eight-run third inning. The offensive show featured an RBI single from Fox, a two-RBI double from Brayden Martin, an RBI single from Doby Bartling, and a towering three-run home run by Williams.

Fox continued his stellar day with a solo home run in the second inning, finishing 2-for-3 with two RBIs. Williams led the charge in the cleanup spot, going 2-for-2 with three RBIs. Martin also played a key role, driving in two runs while collecting two hits.

On the mound, Connor Gehr was dominant, striking out six over four innings while allowing just one run on four hits. Caden Boswell made a relief appearance to help close out the game.
